Iran finish 27th in 2024 IHF Women’s Junior World Championship

TEHRAN – Iran defeated Uzbekistan 40-31 Friday night to come 27th in the 2024 IHF Women’s Junior World Championship.

The Persians had suffered three losses against the Netherlands, Romania and Brazil in Group A of the 2024 IHF Women’s Junior World Championship and also lost to Tunisia in the President’s Cup and defeated Chile.

Iran lost to Czech Republic 28-17 in the 25th-26th place.

The competition is being held in North Macedonia from June 19 to 30.
