TEHRAN – Vyacheslav Volodin, the Chairman of the Russian State Duma, has arrived in Tehran to offer condolences on the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, and their companions.
President Raisi and Minister Amir Abdollahian lost their lives during a helicopter crash in northwestern Iran on Sunday, which happened due to severe weather conditions.
Raisi will be buried in his birthplace, Mashhad, northeastern Iran, on May 23.
